🎯Game Objective:
Your mission is to find as many different paths as possible to return to the starting point, while avoiding retracing any line you’ve already drawn. But beware, Jokers will spice up the game, offering you advantages or additional challenges depending on your luck!
đź› Required Materials:
A playing surface like dirt, sand, or even a large piece of paper.
A stick, a stone, a pencil… Anything that can draw a straight line!
Bonus:
You can also use a tablet with a drawing app for a digital experience.
Jokers Online:
Access our Jokers directly on our website! Discover them through our virtual draw system or create your own drawing system with circles drawn on the ground.
🎲 General Game Rules:
1. Start and Finish: Always start and finish at the same point. But each path must be unique!
2. Tracing: Draw lines between the points. You cannot retrace a line that has already been drawn in the same path, but you can retrace paths that were drawn by another tree (Z-Yggdrasill tree).
3. Point Usage: Points are your allies. Use them as many times as you like to explore new paths or connect different trees.
4. Life System: Instead of a time limit, each player or team starts with a set number of lives (e.g., 3). You lose a life each time you run out of possible paths, make a mistake, or fail a challenge imposed by a Joker. The game ends when you lose all your lives.
5. Point System: To add a competitive element, each successful path earns points. Jokers can also add or subtract points. The goal is to maximize your score by tracing as many unique paths as possible.
6. Limited Movements: Movements to trace the Z must only be north, south, east, or west. No diagonals or curves!
7. Line Length: To keep everything consistent, make sure all lines forming your Zs are roughly the same length.
8. Z Uniformity: All Zs created in the same path must be the same size as the first one traced. However, a new path or a new Z-Yggdrasill tree can have a different size.
9. Creating New Trees: You can only create a new Z-Yggdrasill tree once the current path is complete. This new Z must be connected to an existing Z to ensure all trees are interconnected.
10. Unique Ending: If you cross a path that was already taken by another tree, you must change the final destination so it’s not an exact duplicate. This way, each path counts, even if it shares sections with others.
Game Modes:Â Solo, Team, and Competitive
1. Objective: Find as many different paths as possible to return to the starting point without retracing any lines.
2. Using Jokers: You can use Jokers to give yourself advantages or overcome challenges as you progress through the game.
1. Objective: Collaborate as a team to find as many different paths as possible. Each member contributes to building a large network of Z-Yggdrasill trees.
2. Using Jokers: Jokers can be used to help your teammates complete more difficult tasks or to improve coordination within the team.
1. Objective: Compete against an opponent to see who can trace the most unique paths. Each player follows the same rules, but Jokers can be used to complicate your opponent’s task.
2. Using Jokers: Besides benefiting yourself, you can play Jokers to slow down or directly challenge your opponent.
1. Objective: Two teams compete to see who can trace the most unique paths while interacting with the Z-Yggdrasill trees. Team cooperation is key, but interacting with the opposing team can turn the tide of the game.
2. Using Jokers: Jokers can be used to disadvantage the opposing team, disrupt their strategy, or enhance the actions of your own team.
 The Jokers:
A Bit of Magic in the Maze
Jokers are virtual cards that add a twist to your adventure. Each Joker can change the course of the game, whether by giving you an advantage, presenting you with a challenge, or impacting your opponents if you’re playing in a team. Here’s how it works!
Types of Jokers:
1. Red: These Jokers give you immediate or future advantages.
– Heart: Instant actions (e.g., Play Again Immediately).
– Diamond: Delayed actions (e.g., +30 Seconds on the next turn).
2. Black: These Jokers present challenges or disadvantage your opponents.
– Club: Retroactive actions (e.g., Cancel an Opponent’s Turn).
– Spade: Permanent or lasting actions (e.g., Lose a Turn).
How to Draw a Joker:
1. Virtual Draw: Access our online draw system. Three virtual circles spin and stop to reveal your Joker: color (red or black), symbol (heart, club, diamond, spade), and number (1 to 13).
2. Physical Draw: For those who prefer physical interaction, draw three circles on the ground: one for color, one for symbol, and one for number. Let luck decide by tossing a pebble or spinning yourself before pointing to a section.
3. Using Jokers: Once you’ve drawn a Joker, you can use it at any time during the game to gain an advantage or challenge your opponents!
